4th July ，2010 （Sunday） Kyu grade test
Kendo Kyu grade test will be held on 4th July. Be careful! The date of test
was changed from previous information. The detail information is as follows,
1. Date: 4th July Sunday, 9:00 AM (confirmation for registration on site.
Be punctual). Up to around 10:30 AM (planned)
2. Place: Japanese School Jim (usual place of regular training on Sunday, planned)
3. Eligibility: under or equal the age of High School students. In case of the first Kyu test,
younger children than 9 years old need more than 6 months training in principle.
However regarding children of 10 – 18 years old who have less than 6 months Kendo
training , they might be possible to have the test depend on their ability in some case.
They have to discuss with their coaching teacher before the entry.
4. Target Kyu grade of the test: 2nd – 8th Kyu grade (it will be decided for each target
Kyu grade after discussion with coaching teachers)
5. Deadline of registration: 20th June. Of course registration application will be revised
before the test. However candidates should join at least two times of regular training
and should understand well about the procedure and contents of Kyu test accordingly.)
